Fire Tools provides calculators, projections, educational content, and a portfolio dashboard for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and no content is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read or compute here.

Market data and projections

Market data, dividend history, yields, and other figures displayed on the Service are sourced from third-party data providers (including Yahoo Finance) and may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. Projections and forward-looking calculations are estimates based on historical data and your inputs. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Accounts

Certain features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

Acceptable use

• Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the Service or its data without permission.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or compromise the security of the Service.
• Do not use the Service to violate any law or infringe the rights of others.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.

Paid plans and billing

Core calculators are free. Some features, such as the portfolio dashboard, may require a paid plan. Fees, billing cycles, and any free-trial or promotional terms will be disclosed at signup. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service (including portfolio inputs and holdings). You grant Fire Tools a limited license to host, process, and display that data as necessary to provide the Service to you.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Fire Tools and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will be accurate or current.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fire Tools and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or investment losses arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fire Tools from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
